{"id":120,"date":"2012-10-28T11:23:05","date_gmt":"2012-10-28T11:23:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rogers-brown.co.za\/?page_id=120"},"modified":"2020-05-18T09:50:17","modified_gmt":"2020-05-18T09:50:17","slug":"kenneth-brown","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/rogers-brown.co.za\/?page_id=120","title":{"rendered":"Kenneth Rogers Brown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kenneth was born on the 30th May 1913 in Durban, Natal, South Africa the fourth child of James Rogers Brown and Annie Agnes Young.<\/p>\n<p>Kenneth, who was unmarried, worked as a butcher in Pietermaritzburg.<\/p>\n<p>On the 22nd June 1943 he signed on as an oiler on the Norwegian ship the MV Bramora in Durban.<\/p>\n<p>The MV Bramora (Norway) was torpedoed in Japanese waters on the 18 September 1943.
